Some birth control methods (combined pill, patch, ring, implant, and injection) can temporarily suppress hormones like FSH, LH, estradiol, and testosterone, making test results inaccurate. For best results, wait at least 2–3 months after stopping these methods (6 months for the injection) before testing.
